1. Who we are

AIA Editor is operated by IT PM Consulting, Orlando, Florida, USA. This policy explains what data we collect when you purchase or use AIA Editor, and how we handle it.

2. Data we collect

When you purchase AIA Editor, we collect:

• Email address, provided at checkout, used for payment confirmation, delivering access instructions, and product updates.
• GitHub username, provided at checkout, used to send you the collaborator invitation that grants access to the plugin.

We don’t collect payment card details ourselves. Stripe Checkout handles that directly. We also don’t collect data from the videos you edit; AIA Editor runs locally on your machine and your video files never reach our servers.

3. Third-party services

We rely on the following processors to operate AIA Editor:

• Stripe, payment processing at checkout.
• Supabase, database where your email, GitHub username, and purchase status are stored.
• Resend, delivery of transactional emails (purchase confirmation, access recovery).

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy and security practices. We only share the minimum data needed for each to perform its function.

4. How we use your data

We use your email and GitHub username exclusively to process your purchase, deliver and support access to AIA Editor, and send transactional communications related to your purchase (confirmations, troubleshooting, access recovery). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep purchase records (email, GitHub username, payment status) for as long as needed to support your access to AIA Editor and to meet our accounting and legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time, see Section 6.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time, contact us to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (e.g., a mistyped GitHub username).
• Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal and accounting obligations.

7. Security

We use industry-standard providers (Stripe, Supabase, Resend) that maintain their own security certifications, and we limit access to your data to what’s strictly necessary to operate AIA Editor.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
